Job summary

SummitLab is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our Greenland-based team. The role covers maintenance, repairs, and basic renovations to ensure smooth operations and safe facilities. Accommodation is provided, supporting long-term stability in a remote location.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC tasks, plus the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management and tenants.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with management and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing electrical systems and HVAC systems
• Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards
• Handle minor repairs and renovations to buildings including painting carpentry and basic construction work
• Respond promptly to requests from management or tenants for repairs or maintenance services
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols at all times
