Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a QA Specialist to join the QA/QC team at the Kalundborg production site in Denmark. This full-time, 37-hour week role is offered as a 10-month parental leave cover, with potential for extension depending on business needs.

Regular on-site presence is required, with limited home working possible for suitable tasks. You will review batch documentation, support material and product release, deviations and CAPAs, and work closely with Production and QC to ensure

Qualifications

• Relevant scientific and technical degree (e.g., Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering).
• Experience in Quality Assurance/Control or regulated manufacturing environments; new grads welcome.
• Professional Danish written and spoken proficiency; English sufficient for corporate procedures.
• Experience with SAP or TrackWise is advantageous.
• Structured, deadline-driven, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review batch documentation and ensure SOPs, GMP+, ISO standards are followed.
• Perform or support the release of materials and products.
• Handle deviations, investigations, change controls and CAPAs.
• Collaborate with Production and QC to resolve quality questions.
• Maintain quality records and timely documentation.
• Support QA process improvements and audits where relevant.
