IMC invites you to join a six-week Global Trainee Programme led by our seasoned engineers and traders alongside graduates from Europe, the United States and Asia-Pacific. You’ll deepen your knowledge of trading, our strategies, and proprietary systems.

Afterwards you’ll join a desk that fits your strengths—discretionary, systematic, or execution roles—applying skills in strategy, quantitative modelling, or market execution while receiving mentorship and recognition for your ideas.

Qualifications

• Final year student in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field, aiming to join IMC full-time in August 2027.
• Programming experience is a plus (e.g. Python, Matlab or R).
• First-class analytical skills.
• Genuine interest in financial markets; no prior knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Trade a wide range of financial instruments
• Develop, maintain, and improve trading strategies and algorithms
• Manage the execution and risk of complex trading portfolios
• Collaborate closely with IMC’s technology developers and engineers
