Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering invites applications for its Graduate Electrical Engineer role as part of a structured 24‑month programme designed to accelerate the development of future engineering leaders. You will gain hands‑on experience on major projects, supported by mentoring, formal training and CPD activities.

The role covers engineering, site and project support with progressive responsibility, while maintaining ISMS compliance and contributing to programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel.
• Previous placement or internship experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical services on construction projects.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Carry out site walks and produce snag lists.
• Assist with technical submittals and BIM coordination.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and specialist designers.
• Contribute to programme delivery.
