Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Graduate Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to start a career in a dynamic environment, working on cutting-edge electrical systems across a range of projects.

You will assist with commissioning, testing, FAT/SAT participation, and documentation, collaborating with design, project and installation teams to ensure on-time delivery, safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and systems.
• Keen interest in commissioning, testing, and hands-on engineering work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical systems and equipment.
• Support troubleshooting and fault-finding on electrical installations.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Prepare commissioning documentation, reports, and technical records.
• Collaborate with design, project, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and commissioning processes.
