Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering seeks a motivated Graduate Electrical Commissioning Engineer to start a career in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team and work on cutting-edge electrical systems across projects.

You will assist with commissioning, testing and validation, participate in FAT and SAT, and help prepare technical records to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and systems.
• Keen interest in commissioning, testing, and hands-on engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical systems and equipment
• Support troubleshooting and fault-finding on electrical installations
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
• Prepare commissioning documentation, reports, and technical records
• Collaborate with design, project, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and commissioning processes

About The Role

As part of our commissioning team, you will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems are tested, validated, and fully operational before handover. You will gain hands‑on experience while working alongside experienced engineers on exciting projects.
