Job summary

UNFPA - United Nations Population Fund in Copenhagen is seeking an International Consultant to support the Logistics Management Services (LMS) Team. You will help execute day-to-day logistics operations for reproductive health commodities and humanitarian supplies, ensuring timely, compliant delivery and accurate records.

The role involves collaboration across internal units and external partners, with on-site work in Copenhagen for an 11-month contract.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education is required.
• University degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics documentation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics operations for programme supplies and humanitarian items.
• Provide guidance on logistics, inventory and shipment processes.
• Process orders and monitor shipments from receipt to delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and partners for timely delivery.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with policies.
