Job summary

NTG - Nordic Transport Group in Denmark is seeking an experienced Group Tax Manager to lead global and Danish tax matters across 80+ entities. You’ll drive compliance, transfer pricing, Pillar II and M&A tax projects while collaborating with local teams, external advisors and the Group CFO.

The role demands a hands-on, pragmatic leader with a broad tax skillset, fluent English, and Danish knowledge as an advantage, operating in a decentralised, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• You bring a relevant degree and at least seven years of experience.
• Broad understanding of tax, with Danish corporate tax, transfer pricing and VAT.
• Able to translate tax matters into practical business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee direct and indirect tax compliance across the Group in close cooperation with local finance teams and tax advisors
• Prepare and submit tax returns for Danish entities, including joint taxation, on‑account tax, and dividend tax filings
• Manage transfer pricing processes and documentation across the Group, including coordination with external advisors
• Coordinate global Pillar II registrations and filings, including the GloBE Information Return
• Coordinate Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCr) and related notifications
• Support local entities with withholding tax, VAT, and other tax matters
• Develop and maintain the Group’s tax risk register and manage tax audits and information requests from tax authorities
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the Group and local entities
• Support tax due diligence and tax matters related to M&A, restructurings, and corporate transactions
• Identify and execute tax optimisation projects across the Group
