Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a dynamic professional to drive international sales of drying solutions from the Global Technology Centre in Søborg, Copenhagen. You will manage pipelines, engage with customers, and negotiate contracts while collaborating with engineering and application teams worldwide.

The role requires a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, strong English proficiency, and a track record in technical project sales, with travel 20–40 days/year.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
• Solid work experience in the field (technical project sales).
• Familiar with production processes and equipment in Food, Pharmaceutical or Chemical industries.
• Strong cross-cultural understanding and language skills for international sales negotiations.
• Ability to handle negotiations independently with business acumen.
• Collaborative mindset to engage virtual international teams across the organization.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) and MS Office; experience with SAP and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales pipelines and actively participate in customer visits.
• Support customers translating requirements into drying solutions.
• Calculate prices, write quotations, and follow up.
• Present the solution(s) and advantages.
• Conduct commercial and technical contract negotiations.
• Participate in tests of potential solutions at the test facility.
• Conduct market research and represent GEA at international exhibitions and conferences.
