Job summary

COWI is seeking a Project Director for Data Centres to lead large international data centre projects in the Nordics, overseeing concept through commissioning. You will set strategic direction, governance and delivery structures across multidisciplinary and cross-geographical teams, reporting to Head of Projects - Buildings and Industry West.

You will partner with clients, architects and technical partners to drive successful delivery, maintain robust governance and contribute to business

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead large, international data centre projects (20+ MW).
Experience working with international clients across multiple geographies and delivery cultures (English-speaking environments).
Strong understanding of RIBA stages or equivalent international delivery frameworks.
Demonstrated leadership of project managers and senior specialists within large, multidisciplinary organisations.
Experience from engineering consultancy, technical advisory or hyperscale projects.

Responsibilities

Hold overall accountability for large, complex and international data centre project organisations, from early concept through delivery and commissioning.
Act as senior client interface, building long term trust and effective governance frameworks across geographies.
Define and oversee delivery models (RIBA based or equivalent) with transparency and control.
Provide leadership to Senior Project Managers and Discipline Leads across large multidisciplinary teams.
Hold accountability for project performance, including finances, risk management, governance and steering committee engagement.
Contribute to business development through ongoing client dialogue and account development.
