Job summary

EOS IT Solutions seeks a Data Center Service Operations Manager to oversee and lead operations across our portfolio of UK and European Global Data Centres. The role focuses on consistent service delivery, continuous improvement, and day-to-day operations across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will direct cross-functional meetings, manage action plans, oversee timelines, and ensure deliverables meet EOS and client expectations, with onsite leadership across four locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing global technical teams supporting server deployments and operational environments.
• Experience driving process improvements and systems development, including automation to streamline workflows.
• Demonstrated experience managing change control processes and maintenance activities within production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and delivery of data centre and server operations initiatives across multiple sites.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, resources and risk management.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful delivery.
• Oversee allocation of personnel, equipment and materials, optimise resource utilisation and ensure timely delivery.
• Establish and maintain quality control measures to meet project requirements, standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Identify operational risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are achieved within scope and schedule.
• Prepare and present status reports, updates, and performance metrics to leadership and clients.
• Lead post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement and service innovation.
