Job summary

Bavarian Nordic A/S seeks a Global Distribution Validation & Cold Chain Specialist to lead validation, qualification and continuous improvement of global transport and cold chain solutions. You will ensure GDP compliance, collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Digital and external partners, and drive data-driven improvements across systems and dashboards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
At least five years in pharmaceutical distribution, validation, or regulated environments.
Strong GMP/GDP knowledge and practical transport/cold chain application.
Hands-on experience with transport validation, PQs, risk assessments, reviews.
Experience with analytics tools and data-driven improvement.
Familiarity with AI/predictive analytics and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Ensure transport validation and cold chain compliance.
Develop, evaluate, optimize and implement global transport and cold chain solutions that meet GDP requirements.
Plan and execute transport validation and qualification activities, including protocols, PQs, reports, periodic reviews and risk assessments.
Act as subject matter expert in cold chain distribution and support audits, inspections and assessments.
Support qualification and ongoing assessment of logistics suppliers and transport solutions with Quality and stakeholders.
Contribute to new product introductions and distribution lanes by defining distribution and qualification requirements.
Own quality issues and drive improvements.
Manage and assess temperature excursions with Quality and stability data as needed.
Own deviations, change controls and CAPAs related to distribution and cold chain.
Investigate root causes, coordinate actions and ensure implementation of fixes.
Translate recurring issues into improvements for cold chain performance and compliance.
Strengthen monitoring, analytics and digital capabilities.
Drive global systems for cold chain monitoring and data management.
