Job summary

Saxo Bank is seeking an experienced Art Director/Concept Designer to join the in-house creative team for a nine-month maternity cover. You will translate briefs into distinctive concepts, lead design across digital, social, print, and out-of-home formats, and shape Saxo’s Corporate Visual Identity in collaboration with the Head of Design & Production.

The role requires a strong portfolio, expert Adobe Creative Cloud skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a global context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in art direction and concept design, ideally within a creative agency or in-house team.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating original ideas, visual storytelling, and high-quality design across channels.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; experience with Figma is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, branding, and the production requirements of digital and print formats.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across disciplines, and balance creative ambition with practical delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; experience in financial services or other regulated industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual territories for brand campaigns, product marketing, and client communications
• Translate briefs into clear ideas, mood boards, storyboards, and design proposals that support brand and business objectives
• Create and adapt high-quality designs across digital, social media, print, and out-of-home formats
• Provide art direction for photography and video productions, working closely with colleagues and external production partners
• Shape, define, and evolve Saxo’s Corporate Visual Identity (CVI) together with the Head of Design & Production, translating it into clear design principles and consistent brand expression across markets and channels
• Present creative work, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with marketing and compliance stakeholders through the approval process
• Manage multiple briefs and deadlines, taking ownership of creative delivery from concept to production-ready artwork
