Job summary

NDURE in Copenhagen is building the world's first continuous lactate tracker. We seek an experienced architect to design the core architecture across app, data, backend and infrastructure from scratch, enabling a scalable platform for real-time lactate data.

You will build the app on top of this architecture to deliver real-time lactate display and readable mid-session insights, while ensuring privacy and data handling align with hardware realities.

Qualifications

• Design experience for system architecture, with data, backend and infrastructure decisions.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and data pipelines (time series/IoT/continuous data).
• Comfortable with mobile or cross-platform development and BLE data handling.
• Initiative and self-starting, able to act without detailed instructions.
• Eligible to work in Denmark, on site at Kongens Lyngby office.

Job description

NDURE is building the world's first continuous lactate tracker, think CGM, but for lactate. The device streams physiological data continuously, for days at a time, and we're building the software layer that turns that raw signal into something athletes and coaches can actually use, from elite performance to everyday training. This is unsolved territory: nobody has made continuous lactate data useful in real time before, and we're the ones building it first.

We only accept applicants that are EU citizens already living in Denmark or willing to relocate to Denmark. If this does not apply to you, please do not apply. We are unable to assist with visas.

Key Outcomes

• Design the core architecture of the application, data, backend, and infrastructure, from scratch.
• Build the app on top of it: real time lactate display, readable mid session.
• Build the codebase and systems in a way that a growing software team can build on, not just you.
• Work with our CTO and sensor team. Understand what the hardware actually produces, and build for its imperfections.

Core Requirements

• A few years of experience designing system architecture, you've made the calls on how data, backend, and infrastructure fit together from early on.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and data pipelines, ideally including time series, IoT, or continuous sensor data.
• Comfortable with mobile or cross platform development and BLE data handling specifically.
• You take initiative and solve problems without waiting to be told exactly what to do.
• Eligible to work in Denmark, on site at our office in Kongens Lyngby, Copenhagen, available to start as soon as possible.

Ideal Background

• Experience with wearables, or other data-sensitive consumer products, where privacy and data handling weren't an afterthought.
• Genuine interest in sport, physiology, or performance data.
