We are seeking visionary and internationally recognised scholars who can provide strong academic leadership and drive research excellence within the department. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future direction of research and education, strengthening international collaborations, attracting external funding, and contributing to the continued development of a vibrant and inclusive academic environment.
We are looking for applicants who are able to document a high degree of original academic production at an international level in computer science, including supervision of PhD students. Competences and experience from teaching at different levels, including tests/exams, course/study programme management, and contributions to the development of teaching activities and teaching material are required. Candidates must be clear communicators and have documented skills as group leader. As a person, they should have good interpersonal skills, be inclusive and team-oriented, and able to contribute to a good work environment. Emphasis is placed on the extent to which they have developed the academic discipline from a research and teaching perspective. Emphasis may moreover be placed on the ability to carry out and develop research-based activities in relation to the university’s external cooperation. The assessment will further be based on these academic criteria.
The employment is in accordance with the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities (the Appointment Order) and the Ministerial Order on Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities (in Danish) and protocol on certain terms of employment of academic staff at universities (in Danish). Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the collective agreement between the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations and the state (AC collective agreement) (only in Danish) and protocol on certain terms of employment of academic staff at universities (only in Danish). There is a mutual probationary period of 3 months for the position.
