Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Web Manager to support a leading international company within the communications satellite industry. The role focuses on two strategic digital initiatives: supporting the migration of a global website to a new WordPress platform and contributing to the development of a new customer portal. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on web specialist who thrives in complex, international environments and enjoys collaborating closely with both internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of existing website content into the newly designed WordPress platform, ensuring a smooth transition and high content quality.
• Manage ongoing website updates, maintenance, and content implementation.
• Collaborate closely with the UX Director and coordinate day‑to‑day activities with the external web agency responsible for the new website design and development.
• Ensure consistency in page layouts, content presentation, and overall user experience across the website.
• Assist the AEM team in preparing content for a new customer portal.
• Work closely with the Customer Service Manager and UX Lead to plan, structure, and develop portal content that supports customer needs and improves the overall experience.
• Create and optimize web pages, ensuring they are visually appealing, user‑friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Edit and update images and visual assets where needed.
• Drive tasks independently, proactively identifying opportunities and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.

Profile

• Solid experience working with CMS platforms, preferably WordPress, though experience with similar enterprise CMS solutions is also relevant.
• Experience supporting website migrations, redesigns, or large‑scale content projects.
• Understanding of B2B businesses and digital solutions, ideally within technical or industrial sectors.
• Strong visual sense with the ability to build and maintain engaging web pages.
• Experience with basic image editing and optimization for digital channels.
• Comfortable collaborating with UX specialists, customer‑facing teams, and external agencies.
• Structured, self‑driven, and capable of moving projects forward independently.
• Pragmatic and hands‑on mindset with a willingness to execute as well as coordinate.
• Freelancer with an active CVR number.

Scope

2 days per week for 9 months.

Timeline & Location

Onboarding expected during June and July. Planned start date is mid‑August 2026.
Hybrid setup with approximately 1 day per week onsite in central Copenhagen and the remaining time working remotely.
