Job summary

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Herning. As a Fitter you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical components such as pipes, valves, and pumps. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine work procedures
• Cut thread bend and weld pipes according to specifications
• Install and connect pipes, valves, pumps, and other mechanical components
• Test systems for leaks and proper functioning
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or operation
• Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
• Technical diploma or equivalent certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and materials
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
• Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in pipefitting
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.
