Siemens is seeking a Financial Project Manager for the Electrification & Automation unit in Ballerup. You will own the financial success of complex projects, monitor performance, and drive cash flow and margins with close collaboration to the Project Manager.

You will shape contractual risk management, respond to claims, and identify opportunities to add value for customers. The role offers training, international exposure, and a clear path to growth within a dynamic, evolving Siemens

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting or similar.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in project controlling, commercial project management, finance, or audit.
• Fluency in English; Danish language skills are a plus.
• Strong financial analysis skills and advanced Excel; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Structured, analytical mindset with proactive and flexible approach.
• Team player with strong communication and ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial success of complex projects from offer to final handover from a financial perspective.
• Monitor, control and forecast the financial performance of your project portfolio, driving revenues, margins, and cash flow.
• Shape contracts and manage risks by handling claims, change requests, and opportunities with confidence.
• Act as the trusted commercial counterpart to the Project Manager, representing Siemens towards the customer and ensuring compliance and transparency at every stage.

To strengthen and support our ongoing growth, Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Financial Project Manager for the Electrification & Automation business unit, based out of the Siemens A/S office in Ballerup.

Electrification & Automation is a business in strong development, creating an exciting and fast-moving environment with new opportunities, evolving priorities and ambitious projects. As our new Financial Project Manager, you will probably have the following qualifications:

• A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting (or a similar field).
• Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience in project controlling, commercial project management, finance, or audit.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Danish is a plus.
• Strong skills in financial analysis and Excel; SAP experience is an advantage.
• A structured and analytical mindset, with a result‑oriented, proactive and flexible approach.
• A team player with strong communication skills, able to challenge and drive results.
• Comfortable working in an international and evolving environment and motivated by creating value for customers.
• A growth mindset: eager to learn, open to new ideas, and motivated to contribute to a business that is continuously developing.
