Job summary

Continia Software A/S in Aalborg is seeking an Event Coordinator to own events from A to Z within the marketing department. You will plan, coordinate with designers and suppliers, and ensure follow‑up and insights after each event.

Do you enjoy turning a concept into a well-run event, and do you thrive keeping track of every detail from the first idea to the final follow-up? Then you might be our new Event Coordinator.

At Continia, events are one of the key ways we connect with our partners and customers. We are looking for someone who can make sure every conference, trade show and partner event we host or join is planned well, carried out smoothly and followed up properly. The role sits in our marketing department, where you will work closely with content, design and video colleagues who share your attention to detail.

Why now?

Continia has grown a lot in recent years, and so has our event activity. More markets, more partners and more events mean the coordination can’t stay a side task spread across the team. We need one person to own it from A to Z. That is why we need you.

About the position

You will be part of Continia’s marketing department and report to our Content team lead. The marketing department works like an in-house agency, with its own content, graphic design and video production, so you will have the skills you need close by. We value open collaboration and are always happy to share our knowledge with each other.

You will be responsible for driving our activities on events from A – Z. That means you will work out the plan for the event, coordinate, and ensure stakeholders across the organization are informed, ensure follow-up and analyze and report on the events.

You will know you are succeeding when every event process runs on time and to a high standard, stakeholders always know what is happening and what is expected of them, and each event ends with follow-up and insights we can use to make the next one better.

Primary responsibilities:

• Owning the event planning process and working with stakeholders to keep planning, communication and promotion on track

• Coordinating booth design, roll‑ups, banners and displays with our graphic designer and external suppliers

• Updating, coordinating and quality‑checking print materials such as brochures, flyers, signage and handouts

• Coordinating merchandise beyond our standard range

• Managing event logistics, including registration and ordering materials

• Coordinating post‑event follow‑up, and analyzing and reporting on results

• Own our Partner Awards program, including when awards are handed out and how achievements are communicated

Secondary responsibilities:

• Supporting the Content team with web copy, newsletters and general content production

• Contributing to the social media calendar and producing posts, including supporting activity in our local markets

Who are you?

You are structured, proactive and good at keeping several balls in the air without dropping any. You like being the person who knows where everything stands, and you can work just as easily with a graphic designer, an external supplier or a sales manager. This role gives you a lot of ownership and a lot of room to shape how we do events.

We imagine you:

• Have experience organizing events or working with partner marketing

• Are a strong coordinator who can keep plans, people and deadlines aligned

• Have a structured way of working and an eye for detail

• Preferably have experience with HubSpot or another CRM system

• Have a relevant education in marketing, business or communication

• Have strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

You will be based at our Aalborg office at Stigsborgvej 60, 9400 Nørresundby.

We work in a hybrid setup and are typically in the office three to four days a week, so fully remote work is not possible.
