Job summary

AMETEK Denmark A/S in Allerød seeks a hands-on Quality Manager & Metrologist to own ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 across Denmark with European responsibility. You will drive audits, CAPAs, metrology programs and report to the STC Global Quality Director from the Allerød site.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Global Quality to uphold high standards, support accreditation initiatives, and enable continuous improvement across Europe.

Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering, Metrology, or related technical field.
• 5+ years as Quality Manager with end-to-end QMS responsibility.
• Manufacturing experience in instrumentation, test & measurement, or calibration.
• Hands-on ISO/IEC 17025 expertise and ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Audits, CAPAs, supplier, manufacturing, and customer quality experience.
• Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the QMS across European STC sites (Denmark focus).
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliance across European STC sites.
• Grow ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation scopes and manage audits.
• Act as European subject-matter expert for ISO/IEC 17025 and coordinate accreditation initiatives.
• Plan audits, drive CAPAs, and close non-conformities.
• Oversee calibration and metrology programs and provide hands-on support.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, After-Sales-Service, Purchasing, and Global Quality.
