Job summary

WealthGuard USA is hiring a Junior Developer in Copenhagen to assist in development and maintenance of our software products. This is an entry-level role suitable for candidates without prior experience.

You will collaborate with senior developers, assist in coding, testing, and debugging, and learn new languages and tools while following coding standards. Accommodation is provided for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and logic.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C, Python).
• Knowledge of web development principles HTML CSS JavaScript is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to understand project requirements
• Assist in coding, testing and debugging software applications
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
• Update and maintain existing software programs
• Learn new programming languages, tools and techniques as needed
• Follow best practices in software development and adhere to coding standards
• Document code changes and updates for future reference
