Job summary

Jing Hau in Copenhagen is seeking an entry-level mason to join our team. This contract position offers a monthly salary of 1,700 USD and potential accommodation.

You will assist experienced masons with laying bricks, mixing mortar, and preparing sites while following safety procedures. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Candidates should be physically fit, able to lift heavy materials, and communicate in English (Danish a plus).

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and techniques is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced masons in laying bricks, stones or other materials to build walls, arches, chimneys and other structures.
• Mix mortar and spread it evenly to hold bricks or stones together.
• Use tools such as hammers, chisels and trowels to shape and trim bricks or stones.
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris or other hazards.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
