Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Service Designer to shape end-to-end Ferry Freight Operations. You will map complex operations, connect technology, operations and people, and collaborate with product owners, designers and operations teams across Europe to improve service flows.

You will travel ~25 days a year to terminals, vessels and operational sites, contribute to documentation, and help align product initiatives with the broader operational experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of service design experience with user-centered research and service development methods.
• Exposure to end-to-end service design, journey mapping and systems thinking.
• Willingness to travel ~25 days per year to terminals and vessels.

Responsibilities

• Map and improve end-to-end operational flows from gate-in to vessel operations and network journeys.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Digital Transformation and Operations stakeholders across regions.
• Translate improvements into measurable operational performance gains.
