Job summary

IFF is seeking a Regional Category Manager to join the EMEA Procurement team. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for key raw materials across the region, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness and value delivery.

The role offers hybrid work from Asturias, Leiden or Brabrand and requires strong supplier management and cross-functional collaboration. With exposure to international supplier markets and transformational initiatives, you will drive category strategy, negotiate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Experience in food ingredients, chemicals, manufacturing or FMCG preferred.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier agreements and manage relationships.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional category strategies across EMEA.
• Ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness and value delivery.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships with innovation and risk mitigation.
• Negotiate supplier agreements delivering commercial value.
• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement and productivity gains.
• Monitor market trends and advise sourcing decisions.
