Job summary

ForceShield is seeking an Elevator Installer in Kolding, Denmark to install and maintain elevators across diverse buildings. This contract-based role requires strong technical expertise and physical stamina.

Responsibilities include installing, repairing and maintaining elevators in line with safety regulations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring reliable operation through inspections. English is required; Danish is a plus, and visa sponsorship is offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training preferred.
• Experience in elevator installation not required but advantageous.
• Ability to read technical diagrams.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.

Job description

As an Elevator Installer you will be responsible for installing and maintaining elevators in various buildings and structures in Kolding Denmark. You will work on a contract basis and will be required to have a high level of technical expertise and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain elevators in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or maintenance
• Ensure proper functioning of elevator systems through regular inspections and testing
• Work with electrical components, mechanical parts and computer systems to ensure smooth operation of elevators
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or questions they may have

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training or relevant apprenticeship is preferred
• Previous experience in elevator installation or maintenance is not required but would be an asset
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical diagrams
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English; Danish language proficiency is a plus
