Kirby Group Engineering in Denmark is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to own commercial control from tender to final account. You will work with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to keep margins healthy and disputes minimal.
The role emphasizes accurate costings, effective communication, and rigorous documentation while contributing to profitable project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Kirby Group Engineering is an international multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor and leading provider of high-value engineering services to a number of ‘blue chip’ companies. Operating across Ireland, the UK, Europe and South Africa, Kirby has become the engineering service provider of choice in growth segments such as pharmaceuticals, data centres and power transmission and distribution. Our culture is innovative, collaborative and performance focused. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a company committed to developing talent and rewarding performance.
If you’re an Electrical Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being involved from day one and still standing at the finish line, this role will suit you. You’ll take ownership of projects from tender through to final account, and you’ll have the commercial influence to actually make a dent in profitability — not just report on it afterwards.
This isn’t a role where you sit in the background issuing spreadsheets into the void. You’ll be partnering closely with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and clients, making sure the commercial heartbeat of each project stays healthy and predictable (or at least explainable).
The Electrical QS has more influence on project outcomes than most people realise. When you do your job well, the company delivers better margins, fewer disputes and cleaner final accounts. When you don’t, things get messy. We’re hiring someone who takes pride in keeping things un‑messy.
Kirby Group Engineering is an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates, regardless of race, gender, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or age.
