Job summary

The Mads Clausen Institute (MCI) at the University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg invites applications for a technician. The position is two years, starting 1 October 2026 or as soon as possible, with responsibilities in supporting lab managers, maintaining laboratories and workshop equipment, and assisting with upgrades across NanoSYD, CMAC and CAPE.

You should be educated as an industrial technician or similar, able to work independently in laboratories, communicate in Danish and English,

• Support lab managers and units in-house with various tasks.

• Operate and maintain laboratory and workshop equipment.
• Work as part of the Sønderborg workshop team.
