Demant is seeking a DSP Engineer to shape next-generation hearing aids. You will contribute to advanced DSP and embedded software, taking concepts from simulation to real-world validation in a cross‑functional SAFe Scrum team.
You will work on balancing sound quality, performance, and power while collaborating with audiologists, embedded engineers, test specialists, and product owners. On-site with optional remote days, start date soon; Demant supports growth and a collaborative culture.
At Demant, Digital Signal Processing sits at the heart of something deeply human: how people experience the world through sound. As a DSP Engineer you won’t just develop algorithms, you’ll help shape how millions of people connect, communicate, and live fuller lives.
You’ll join a cross-functional SAFe Scrum team within an Agile Release Train, working at the intersection of advanced DSP, hearing science, and real-world user experience.
The team consist of seven colleagues with different international backgrounds focusing on the foundational audiology algorithms at the core of our hearing instruments. Your work will directly influence how our users hear their world, making sound more natural, less tiring and more meaningful for people with hearing loss.
We all have a strong technical foundation, a genuine curiosity, and a willingness to contribute to the future hearing aids while we help and share our ideas with each other.
Our work does not limit us to working solely within our team. We also work as a cross-collaborative function coordinating between many different Scrum teams making teamwork great.

Throughout, you’ll keep the end user at the center of your decisions, working closely with Audiologists, Embedded Software Engineers, Test Specialists, and Product Owners.
The job is performed in Demant’s headquarters with possibility to work from home up to two days per week when up and running and when it fits in with the team's work. Expected start date is 1st of December2026. It is a requirement that you can start onsite from day one.
You are an engineer with a strong DSP foundation and a keen interest in hearing science and audio processing. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges in collaboration with others and understand that great DSP combines technical excellence with a deep understanding of the user experience.
