Job summary

PeakNet in Greenland is seeking an experienced Driver for a full-time position. You will safely operate company vehicles, transport goods or passengers, and adhere to schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements include 2+ years as a professional driver, a valid license with a clean record, GPS familiarity, and the ability to lift heavy objects. English communication is required; Greenlandic or Danish is a plus. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional driver.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning.
• Ability to lift heavy objects or assist passengers with mobility needs.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Greenlandic or Danish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles including cars, vans and trucks.
• Transport goods or passengers to designated locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws and follow established routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and report safety issues.
• Load and unload goods or assist passengers with getting in and out of the vehicle.
• Keep records of mileage, fuel consumption and deliveries.
• Follow company policies for vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
