WealthGuard USA is seeking a Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist to provide expert nutrition counseling in a healthcare setting located in the Faroe Islands. The role focuses on developing personalized nutrition plans and promoting healthy eating habits in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, 2+ years of clinical experience, and strong communication skills to engage diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dietitian or Nutritionist, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry related to nutrition.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs and create customized meal plans.

Job description

As a Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist in our healthcare facility in the Faroe Islands you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition counseling and education to patients in order to promote healthy eating habits and manage various conditions related to diet. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their specific needs and medical history.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients nutritional needs and create customized meal plans based on their individual requirements
• Educate patients on the importance of proper nutrition and how it can improve their overall health and wellbeing
• Monitor patients progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients
• Keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and implement new strategies as needed

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited program
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian or Nutritionist preferably in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy physiology and biochemistry related to nutrition
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian RD credential or equivalent certification in your country of origin
• Experience providing nutrition counseling for chronic diseases such as diabetes heart disease or obesity
• Fluency in both English and Faroese language

Salary $900 per month negotiable based on experience.
