Job summary

SmartAgro in Copenhagen is seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to design, build and maintain our deployment pipelines and infrastructure. You will work with developers, sysadmin and teams to ensure smooth delivery of our products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS and at least 3 years of experience with Linux/Unix, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Docker and Kubernetes, plus automation with Ansible/Puppet. Accommodation is provided for staff coming from abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar DevOps role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with Ansible or Puppet for config management.

Job description

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team in Copenhagen. As a DevOps Developer you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our development process. You will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated deployment pipelines
• Developing scripts for automating tasks and processes
• Troubleshooting issues in development, testing, and production environments
• Managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
• Collaborating with software developers to improve the efficiency of the development process
• Implementing security measures to protect our systems and data
• Monitoring system performance and making improvements as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby)
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and security protocols (SSL/TLS)
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1,400 per month for this position.
