Job summary

Eurofins Environment A/S seeks a development chemist for a 4-year Industrial PhD project in Vejen. You will help develop AI-assisted decision-support for wastewater treatment, using non-target screening and mechanistic modelling, with collaboration across Danish and international partners including KU.

You should be a PhD candidate or hold a Master’s in Chemistry with analytical chemistry experience; English and Danish fluency are required.

Qualifications

• PhD candidate pursuing a doctoral degree in chemistry.
• Master’s in Chemistry with knowledge of analytical chemistry.
• Experience with method development and chromatographic techniques.
• Interest in AI applications in environmental analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-assisted decision-support tool for wastewater treatment.
• Conduct non-target screening (NTS) analysis of micropollutants.
• Collaborate with University of Copenhagen and other partners.
• Support project goals in Vejen with travel to Copenhagen if needed.
