Job summary

DNV Cyber is seeking a Detection Engineer in Denmark to develop and implement advanced detection capabilities for SIEM and XDR platforms. The role involves creating detection rules, tooling, and automation to strengthen client security operations.

You will work with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, and related technologies, collaborating with cybersecurity professionals to deliver high-end services to clients while staying up to date with evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Experience with SIEM and XDR technologies such as Microsoft security stack.
• Exposure to data engineering concepts (data collection, data lakes, ETLs, ML Ops).
• Experience with at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python or PowerShell) and/or writing queries (e.g., KQL).
• Ability to communicate with customers and translate cybersecurity value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced detection capabilities for SIEM/XDR products.
• Create logic-based and ML-based detection rules to strengthen client security.
• Develop tools and automated solutions to enhance SOC operations.
