Job summary

BIG in Copenhagen is seeking talented architecture students for an internship as a Design Assistant. You will work with experienced architects on projects across typologies, locations and scales, in a collaborative, curious and learning-focused environment.

As you develop, you will contribute to design options, produce drawings, models and visualizations, and support both conceptual and technical work while gaining insight into project management and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Has completed at least two years of architectural education.
• Is currently enrolled as a student of architecture.
• Experience with Rhino and/or Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Is fluent in English.
• Available for an internship at BIG for a minimum of six months.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects at different stages of the design process, from early conceptual design through to technical development and detailing.
• Develop and test design options and produce diagrams, drawings, models and visualizations.
• Work with digital and physical models and support conceptual, design development and technical work.
• Contribute to presentations and design communication and collaborate with architects, designers, engineers and other consultants.
