Your Responsibilities

As a Data Center Operations Specialist in Aevens Data Center team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of Aevens data centers. Your primary function will be maintaining the physical data center installations. In collaboration with our other data center technicians, you will manage equipment installation and cabling. You will ensure correct installation and documentation for easy identification and troubleshooting.

As Data Center Operations Specialist you will contribute to major transformation projects with your knowledge of the physical installation frameworks in data centers. To accomplish this, you must have a broad understanding of all data center aspects, from single-line electrical diagrams and cube & rack capacity management to fiber infrastructure. You will play a significant role in the operation and maintenance of infrastructure, handling incidents, replacements, and problems according to industry’s best practices.

You will be part of Aevens Data Center Mount & Cabling team, which consists of eight employees primarily working at Aevens own data centers and co-location sites in and around Copenhagen. Our focus is on delivering high quality, stability, high uptime, and customer service. We are a team consisting of skilled and dedicated professionals, that always support each other. You will be a key player contributing to the development of our team and our continued professional growth.

You will work from one of our data centers in Copenhagen, but the work will take place at multiple locations in the Copenhagen area, so a driver's license is a prerequisite for this position. Our skilled team is part of Aevens extensive setup with several data centers responsible for infrastructure, support, and applications, which are a significant part of our customers’ IT solutions. Your Qualifications And Experience

You are a dedicated and responsible individual who thrives in a challenging and dynamic work environment. You must be proactive, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess good communication skills. It is essential that you speak and write both Danish and English, as we work with teams from many different nationalities. Additionally, you must be a Danish citizen and able to obtain security clearance from the PET to hold this position.

• Experience in data center operations or another hardware-intensive industry.
• Knowledge of electrical installations, IT racks, cabling, hardware installation, and other aspects of data center operations.
• Technical education as an electrician or equivalent is an advantage but not required.
• Analytical skills and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
• Team player willing to involve and assist colleagues when necessary.
• Ability to work in an international environment as we collaborate with teams from various nationalities.
