Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site freelance work in Odense, Denmark. You will support mission-critical infrastructure, perform hardware installations, cabling, racking, and server maintenance while coordinating with NOC and client teams.

Candidates should have 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, strong cabling skills, and solid English communication. Certifications such as CDCP/CDCS and CCNA/Network+ are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.

• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
• Familiarity with DCIM and ticketing systems is preferred.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Odense, Denmark. This is an on‑site position supporting mission‑critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Compensation

kr165-230/hr (DKK hourly)

Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after‑hours work may qualify for premium rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations

• Own transportation and ability to work on‑site
• Professional communication skills in English
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred
