Job summary

SS&C Technologies in Copenhagen invites an Associate Data Analyst to join a specialized, collaborative team at the intersection of finance, data analytics, and securities litigation.

You will contribute to research on securities class actions, estimate investor recoveries, and support data-driven analyses using financial and trading data, regulatory filings, and internal models. Hands-on responsibility and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Law.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle complex data.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calculating damages and settlement recoveries in securities class actions.
• Collect, validate, and analyze financial, trading, market, and litigation data.
• Research securities class actions, court filings, settlement notices, and market developments.
• Review filings to identify class definitions, securities, eligibility, and recovery opportunities.
• Analyze institutional investors and prospective clients, including investment strategies and SEC filings.
• Support development and maintenance of financial, statistical, and predictive models.
• Prepare loss estimates, price-drop analyses, and case valuations.
• Maintain internal databases and analytical tools related to pending litigation and investors.
• Prepare tables, charts, and analyses using Excel and data-tools.
• Conduct ad hoc financial, litigation, and business research as required.
• Contribute to improved research processes and methodologies.
