Job summary

Terma A/S is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen cyber resilience across diverse projects from proposal to decommissioning. You will join a multinational team in the Cyber & Quantum Technology department, contributing to secure product development and rigorous security testing.

The role requires fluent English; Danish is an advantage. You should have a degree in Engineering/CS with Cybersecurity, strong knowledge across Network, System and Application Security, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

Your role in our team

As our new Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be the anchor point of bringing cyber resilience to a wide range of projects in various stages of the product lifecycle - from proposal and development to maintenance and decommissioning - while learning and leveraging a variety of skill sets.

You will join an energetic, innovative, multinational team within our Department of Cyber & Quantum Technology under R&D - currently consisting of 15 passionate colleagues with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. The team is a mix of experienced professionals and talented newcomers, all united by enthusiasm and passion for cybersecurity, technology, and a shared joy of hacking devices.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities include:

• Secure Cybersecurity Product Development Security engineering and architecture
• Vulnerability assessments
• Product pen-testing
• System and network hardening

Bring your world class expertise into play

You are fluent in English, both in writing and verbal, at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague who has:

• A relevant educational background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science with Cybersecurity, or a similar field of study
• Strong familiarity and knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts across Network, System, and Application Security
• Experience with information security disciplines; spanning hardware, software, communication, and design-based security solutions
• The ability to understand and work from system specifications, driving technical solution from the initial idea through product end-of-life
• Familiarity with software development based on JAVA/Python, C++ in a Linux environment
