Job summary

Abroad Work in Copenhagen is seeking a highly motivated Information Security Analyst to join our team and help safeguard our company’s information systems and networks.

You will conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, implement security protocols, monitor for suspicious activity, respond to incidents, stay current with trends, and train staff on security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in information security analysis or related role.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
• Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or potential security breaches.
• Investigate security incidents and develop appropriate response plans.
