Job summary

VirtualWorks Hub is seeking a talented Web Designer to craft visually appealing and user-friendly websites for Greenland clients. The role requires collaborating with clients to translate requirements into designs and implementing them with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Accommodation is provided as part of the package.

Ideal candidates have strong design sense, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and front-end skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of design principles such as color theory, typography and layout.
• Knowledge of responsive web design techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their website needs and create design concepts.
• Design wireframes, mockups, and layouts for websites.
• Develop websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies.
• Ensure website designs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional.
• Test websites across multiple browsers and devices to ensure compatibility.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new design techniques into projects.
