Job summary

BaseForce is seeking a skilled Locksmith for a contract position in the Faroe-Islands. You will install, repair and maintain locks for residential and commercial properties and respond to emergencies.

You must have proven experience, knowledge of lock types, and the ability to work independently with strong customer service. High school diploma required; additional locksmithing training preferred. Salary is 1,700 USD per month.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Locksmith or similar role.
• Knowledge of different types of locks and their functioning.
• Familiarity with tools used in the trade such as drills, saws and key cutters.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and replace locks on doors, windows, safes and other entry points.
• Cut keys and duplicate existing ones as needed.
• Troubleshoot and fix any issues with existing locking systems.
• Provide emergency lockout services when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
