Your new role

As our Compliance Officer, Healthcare Compliance, you will play a key role in strengthening healthcare compliance across Lundbeck's global organization, with a particular focus on Global R&D and our evolving neuro-rare portfolio.

You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across R&D, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access and Patient Access, helping them navigate complex requirements and make informed, risk-based decisions.

Combining strategic business partnering with hands‑on compliance responsibilities, you will engage early in new initiatives, provide practical guidance and review and approve healthcare compliance activities organized by HQ functions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Advise global stakeholders on healthcare compliance matters, including HCP/HCO engagements, consultancy arrangements, fair market value (FMV), transparency, grants and donations.
  • Support R&D activities and evolving rare-disease and specialty-care pathways, including CRO collaborations, patient and caregiver engagement, and early access programs.
  • Review and approve HQ healthcare activities, including external engagements, events, sponsorships, educational activities, grants and donations.
  • Identify emerging compliance risks and translate regulatory requirements into practical policies, SOPs, guidance and risk-based solutions.
  • Use insights from monitoring, approvals, audits and investigations to identify trends, strengthen controls and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Regional Compliance Officers and Legal & Compliance colleagues to ensure consistent and practical application of global requirements.

Your future team

You will join our Global Ethics & Compliance team, working closely with colleagues across Global Legal & Compliance and stakeholders throughout Lundbeck's global organization.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to a broad range of healthcare compliance activities while helping strengthen our proactive support to R&D and an evolving pharmaceutical portfolio.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

We are looking for someone who combines healthcare compliance expertise with sound judgement, curiosity and a collaborative mindset. You are comfortable advising stakeholders at different levels, challenging constructively and translating complex requirements into clear, practical solutions.

We imagine that you bring:

  • Solid experience in healthcare compliance, legal, regulatory or a related area within the pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences industry, ideally including R&D, Clinical Development or Medical Affairs.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry codes and HCP/HCO interaction requirements, including EFPIA, ENLI and relevant local regulations.
  • Practical experience advising on healthcare compliance matters such as FMV, transparency, external engagements, grants and donations, third-party collaborations or related compliance controls.
  • Experience working with compliance policies, SOPs, risk assessments or monitoring in a global or cross-functional environment, combined with strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve and collaboration is essential. You work proactively and independently, build trusted relationships and balance business needs with appropriate compliance safeguards.
  • Most importantly, you see Compliance as a business partner that enables responsible decisions and helps the organization move forward with confidence.
