Job summary

DTU Lyngby Campus is seeking a Chip Fabrication and Innovation Manager to build a Nordic and European network for chip fabrication, testing and packaging, and to support startups in collaboration with DTU Nanolab and other partners.

The role combines international outreach with practical spin-out support, engaging researchers and PhD students to identify business opportunities, while contributing to a growing semiconductor ecosystem in Denmark.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or physics.
• Experience in proactively setting the agenda in network building and entrepreneurial dialogues.
• Talent for obtaining tangible results in informal collaborations with diverse stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and experience at the interface between industry and academia.

Responsibilities

• Establish a Nordic (and later European) network to support the chip industry and outsourcing of specialized tasks.
• Identify and help establish spin-out (fabrication oriented) chip companies at DkCCC partner organisations.
• Serve as the primary contact for Cleanroom and nanofabrication coordination within the European Network of Chips competence centres.
• Engage in new areas where DkCCC can contribute to a dynamic and growing chip fabrication community in Denmark.
