Job summary

JYSK is seeking a Category Buyer within Home & Living to join our Purchasing department. You will manage a broad product range, develop competitive assortments, and build a clear path toward a future Category Manager role.

Expect about 20 travel days per year as you collaborate across JYSK and suppliers in multiple markets. You will monitor performance, analyse data, and work with cross-functional teams to optimise product ranges, always aiming to improve quality, design and commercial appeal

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Years of buyer experience and interest in purchasing, design and quality.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with IT systems.
• Structured, analytical mindset with numerical comfort.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial mindset with product and assortment focus.
• Collaborative with stakeholder management and relationship-building.
• Clear Danish and English communication, written and spoken.
• Curious about market trends and what makes products attractive.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse product performance and prepare reports.
• Conduct competitor surveillance and ensure competitive pricing.
• Developing and optimising product assortments.
• Identify market trends and opportunities within Home & Living.
• Working closely with suppliers on product development and assortment optimisation.
• Collaborating with suppliers, colleagues and cross-functional teams across JYSK.
• Supporting ongoing improvements in quality, functionality, design and commercial appeal.
• Contributing to the development of seasonal assortments, including Christmas.
• Supporting the overall commercial performance and development of your categories.
• You can expect approximately 20 travel days per year.
