Job summary

PeakFleet in Odense, Denmark, seeks a Biometric Passport Tester to validate biometric passport systems across our products. You will perform functional and security-focused tests, collaborate with developers, and help ensure reliability and privacy of identification processes.

You will design test plans, execute manual and automated tests, report defects, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases. Remote work may be considered only for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in software testing or QA, preferably biometric systems.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with Java or Python is a plus.
• Experience with biometric authentication technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and non-functional testing of the biometric passport system.
• Develop test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests on various platforms and environments.
• Identify, isolate and report bugs or issues found during testing.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed feedback.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality products.
