The Faculty of Medicine, Department of Clinical Medicine at Aalborg University Copenhagen invites applications for an Associate Professor in Nutrition and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. This full‑time position starts 1 March 2027 and runs to 28 February 2031, based at the Copenhagen South Harbour campus with access to the National Center of Excellence for Molecular Prediction of IBD (PREDICT).

Qualifikationen

• Appointment as an associate professor requires research and teaching qualifications at the level that can be achieved through the satisfactory completion of a period of employment as an assistant professor but may also be obtained in other ways.
• It is a precondition that applicants have documented research at an international standard.
• Applicants are assumed to have received supervision and pedagogical skills development and to have obtained a positive written assessment of their teaching qualifications.

Aufgaben

• Lead new research projects from study planning to study conduct, writing of scientific papers, obtaining funding and presenting research at national and international meetings, and training of students.
• Take administrative tasks related to the everyday running of the Center as part of the team of group leaders referring to the Center Director.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary group of scientists and perform forefront, international research at Aalborg University Copenhagen (Copenhagen South Harbour).
