Job summary

Aarhus University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Acute Kidney Injury in the Department of Biomedicine, Faculty of Health. The position is fixed-term, full-time for 2 years, starting 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.

You will conduct independent, high-quality research and engage in teaching at bachelor’s and master’s levels, supervising students and developing the department through international collaborations.

Qualifications

• PhD-level qualifications and strong research experience.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and teach Bachelor’s/Master’s students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research of the highest international quality, including publications.
• Teach, guide and examine Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students; possibly supervise PhD students.
• Contribute to attracting external research funding.
• Intravital imaging and analysis of acute kidney injury in transgenic mouse models.
