Job summary

Aalborg University invites applications for a 3-year PhD stipend in Climate change from fjord to coast, starting 01.01.2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The project, part of the From Catchment to Coast program, includes field campaigns in South Greenland and collaboration with Aarhus University and the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources.

You will develop a PhD program, meet 30 ECTS requirements, and join a diverse, international lab team.

Qualifications

• Relevant master’s degree in biology.
• Ideally field experience, data analysis and programming skills (R/Python/MATLAB).
• Team players who can contribute in a diverse and international lab setting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Join field campaigns in South Greenland and collaborate with supervising researchers.
• Coordinate with the participating institutions and contribute to the PhD program development.
• Develop the PhD science program in collaboration with the Doctoral School and supervisors.
