Job summary

Schmidt Hammer Lassen is seeking an Architecture Intern for Spring 2027. The role runs 4 February 2027 to 25 June 2027 in Copenhagen NV, at 37 hours per week, with lunch arrangement and compensation in line with regulations. You must be enrolled as an architecture student to be eligible.

Mentorship is provided, and interns collaborate on competitions, proposals, and early project development with international colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong design skills and proficiency in Rhino.
• Graphic sense and solid skills in Adobe CC.
• Good work ethic and desire to be part of a project team.
• Confidence to work in English with international colleagues.
• Knowledge of Revit or Grasshopper is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Description

Schmidt Hammer Lassen is looking for talented architecture students who are eager to challenge and develop their skills in practice. As an intern with us, you can expect to work on competitions, design proposals, and the early stages of project development. Our current projects range from the restoration of the Danish National Bank, masterplans and urban development, to the transformation of the historic buildings of Universitetsbyen in Aarhus and DSB’s former railway workshop in Copenhagen.

We take great pride in sharing our knowledge, and this is one of the fundamental elements of our internship program. From the very beginning, you will be assigned a mentor who will support and follow you throughout the internship. We encourage you to ask questions, contribute your ideas, and challenge us with your knowledge and perspective. In addition, the program includes introductory days, workshops, and study trips.

Strong design skills and proficiency in Rhino. A strong graphic sense and solid skills in Adobe CC. A good work ethic and a desire to be part of a project team. The confidence to work in English, as we have many international colleagues. Knowledge of Revit or Grasshopper is an advantage.

Practical information

The internship runs from 4 February 2027 to 25 June 2027 at our brand-new studio in Copenhagen NV. The position is 37 hours per week, and we offer a lunch arrangement as well as financial compensation in accordance with applicable regulations. You must be enrolled as an architecture student to be eligible for the internship.
