KeyShot is seeking a hands-on test automation engineer to build the deterministic test gates and AI-driven testing strategy for desktop and plugin products. You will write code daily and lead by example, shaping how we verify builds before shipping.

Based in Aarhus, Odense or Copenhagen, you will collaborate with Web and Cloud teams to keep desktop and cloud testing aligned. We offer health insurance, parental leave and a pension program, plus regular social events.

Formación

• Developer background with several years in test automation and daily coding.

About us

We build KeyShot, one of the leading 3D rendering products in the world, used across product design, engineering, marketing and manufacturing to visualize and communicate ideas before they're real. Used by companies like Google, Rolex, Louis Vuitton, HP, Microsoft, Philips, Adidas and many more.

Our desktop app and plugins run on customer machines and connect to cloud services that change every day. We're looking for a hands-on engineer to build the test system: deterministic gates that decide what ships, and AI agents that explore, generate and triage at a scale manual testing can't reach. You'll write most of it yourself, and lead by example.

What you'll do

• Write test code every day: GUI automation, image comparison and render benchmarks.
• Build and run AI testing agents and turn what they find into permanent tests.
• Own our quality gates and the signals that show when a build is ready to ship.
• Work with our Web and Cloud teams so desktop and cloud keep working together.
• Set the bar for test code across teams by writing it, reviewing it and coaching others.

What we're looking for

• A developer background and several years in test automation, including time at lead or senior level, and you still code daily.
• Hands-on experience using AI or LLM agents in testing, and clear views on what to trust them with.
• Strong in C++ and fluent in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Fast, reliable test automation in CI/CD that you built and owned.
• A self-driven working style: you're past needing close guidance, and you want a role where your judgment is trusted.
• Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken. Our colleagues come from all over the world and English is our primary working language.

Nice to have:

3D, rendering or graphics software; image comparison testing; plugins for host apps such as CAD tools; testing desktop software against cloud services.

What you'll join

You'll be part of multiple teams, working across our desktop and plugin products with a direct line to engineering leadership. This is a greenfield mandate: you help define and build how AI-driven testing works at KeyShot, with hard, visual challenges in a product people love to look at.
